This is a stunning brooch with an engraved river town scene that could be easily used as a pendant. It is solid sterling silver and has a full English hallmark and engraving dating this piece to 1886. It would make a wonderful gift for a 25th wedding anniversary or a "something old" for a vintage loving bride on her special day. I have to say I lovingly choose all the pieces we have in our store but every once and a while I get a piece and I think to myself I am the steward of this incredible piece of history...this is one of those pieces.
